Employability Courses
Next Generation Training is a supplier on the DPS system delivering sector and employability contracts in Scotland.
Our main courses offered through this system focus on key industries and supplement qualifications with employability days to ensure participants can obtain and sustain employment.
Our employability offering includes:
- CV preparation and updates.
- Job searching techniques.
- Application and cover letter support.
- How to succeed in the workplace session.
- Confidence Building.
- Some courses have guaranteed interviews and are linked with our employers with live vacancies and run as sector-based work academies.
Security courses also include support to complete the licence application process as well as payment to obtain the SIA licence itself for all participants that successfully complete the accredited training element. Participants successfully completing this course and obtaining their license will then be able to meet the minimum criteria for working within the private security industry as a door supervisor or security guard. Without the training or license this would not be possible.
Construction courses include materials and payment for the CSCS test and the CSCS Green Labourer’s card for participants successfully completing the mandatory elements of the course. Without this they would not be able to work on site.
